THE CHALLENGE:

Our challenge was to use technology to create a halo product, with a unique user experience, that would embody Wilson's mission of building the bond between athletes and their equipment. 

 

THE SOLUTION:

The Wilson X Connected Basketball. With a revolutionary smart sensor and bluetooth connectivity, it knows when a shot has been made or missed, on almost any hoop, with no attachments or wires. And it delivers immediate feedback to your smartphone to help you train smarter every day. With four game modes and real-time audio; including horns, commentary and crowd noise, it helps you train under game-time pressure to prommote clutch shooting.

 

In addition to designing the app, the agency named the ball, developed the graphic ID on the ball, designed the packaging, designed the website and did the film and display advertising. 

 

THE RESULTS:

In addition to rave reviews for the ball and the app, it was the must-have gift for avid basketball players--selling out on Amazon.com and in retail before Christmas.
